We are accepting entries for our annual “pig and swig” soup cook off until November 1, 2023. We will let you know if you are selected to participate after that date. This is a ticketed event and only people who buy tickets ($10 day of) will be able to try the soups and vote. Most number of votes wins the cook off.
Event date & time:
-November 22nd, 2023 Judging begins at 5pm and ends at 7pm
-Winner will be announced after all votes are counted (estimated 7:30pm 8pm)
Entry fee:
-$25 (cash or Check written to 3rd turn brewing)
Rules:
-Soup MUST have pork in the recipe!
-You must be present and checked in by 5pm day of event for your soup to be judged and prizes to be received
Guidelines/dates: (if selected to participate)
-We are looking for 15 individuals or businesses to participate
-We asked participants to have at least 5 gallons of soup for judging
-Bring your soup hot
-We will be providing a lit warm chafing dish, tables, and 2 oz tasting cups
-A list of ingredients is required (does not have to be a recipe )
Prizes (winner take all) :
-$100 Cash
-Championship Belt of Soup Supremacy (presented by last years winner)
-Free entry in next soup cook-off (Yes we would want you to come back next year and defend your championship)
